ISBA New Admittee Virtual Coffeehouse - February Course
Registration for the February course is now closed. Stay tuned for future courses!
This full-bodied program is a balanced brew of rich fun and robust learning that’s served in small sips over the course of four weeks, making it the perfect fit for hectic schedules. And the best part? The ISBA New-Admittee Virtual Coffeehouse is more than a mandatory learning experience! Rather, it’s an opportunity to network with other community members (both new and experienced!), a portal for engaging in meaningful online discussions on topics for new admittees, a place to ask questions they didn’t answer in law school, a venue for weekly chats with Basic Skills faculty members, not to mention an affordable way to keep abreast of current topics and legal trends!
Coffeehouse Menu Items:
Espresso of the Week – 30-Minute Webinars: Practical tips from experienced attorneys offered each Thursday, 4:30 – 5:00 p.m. (Free and required for all Basic Skills Registrants/$15 per session for all other ISBA members)
*Please Note: MCLE credit is not available for participation in these webinars.
The Classic Cup – ISBA’s Basic Skills for New Attorneys:15 hours of Online Streaming Programs
Illinois Supreme Court Rule 793 may require new admittees to take a Basic Skills course within the first year of being admitted, but they don’t say it has to be boring! Access 3-4 hours of Basic Skills online segments each week at your convenience to satisfy the Illinois Supreme Court Basic Skills requirement. ISBA is a Basic Skills accredited provider.
